About the series: Trust in God is reasonable. In this free lecture series with Q and A professors, thinkers, academics, or graduate students give reasons why they trust in God or address objections to why people don’t trust in God. A Q & A follows each lecture. All of the talks took place at the University of Toronto.

She was joined by Nathan Betts for the Question and Answer period. Nathan is a speaker with RZIM Canada. He graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, Oxford University and also received an MA from King’s College, University of London.
“Science or God – Do We Have to Choose?” Dr. Tom Aechtner received his BSc in Biology from the University of Alberta, his MA in Religious Studies from the University of Calgary, and his DPhil from the University of Oxford. Tom studied under historian Peter Harrison, then Idreos Professor of Science and Religion at the University of Oxford. Before he was an academic, Tom was on staff with Power to Change – Students. Dr. Aechtner is currently Lecturer in History of Religious Thought at the University of Queensland, Australia.
