Isn’t the Church Responsible for So Much Injustice? Third Talk from Jesus Awareness Week at U of T

Mahatma Gandhi said: “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” If Jesus’ command to his followers was to love their neighbours as themselves, why is the Church known for things such as murder, sexual abuse, greed, corruption, and hypocrisy? Dan MacDonald, BA (McGill), LLB (UWO), MDiv (Reformed), a former lawyer and now Pastor at Grace Toronto Church, answers this important question in his engaging talk during Jesus Awareness Week at the University of Toronto. The talk is followed by a lively question and answer period.
